Privacy notice
Last updated 19 October 2026
This notice explains what happens to the details you give us through the Founders Club form on this website. We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Your name and email address.
- If you choose to give them: your phone or WhatsApp number, how many children you have and their ages, the language you would like lessons in and the languages spoken at home, whether you homeschool and the curriculum you use now, what you would like for your child, what you would like to hear about, and your message.
- The date you sent the form and which version of the consent wording you agreed to.
- A scrambled (keyed, one-way hashed) version of your internet address, used only to stop the form being flooded with spam. It is kept apart from your details and only for about an hour.
We never ask for children's names.
Why we collect it
To reply to you about the Founders Club and to let you know when Tiny Campus opens in Pretoria East. We don't use it for anything else.
Where it is kept
Your details are stored securely in Google Cloud (Firebase), and a copy is emailed to our Tiny Campus inbox so we can reply. Only the Tiny Campus team can see them. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else.
How long we keep it
If you don't join Tiny Campus, we delete your details 12 months after we were last in touch. If you do join, they become part of your family's Tiny Campus account.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. You can also tell us to stop contacting you. Just email us and we'll respond promptly.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
